First time travelling with Tulia alone. It is a challenge as I am very bad with directions. People closest to me knows that I am going to get lost multiple times during this trip, which I hope I'll prove them wrong. I was anticipating this trip a lot since we've made the decision to come back as a 2-some instead of a 4-some. Thanks a lot to Gay who has offered to take care of Rex so I can really have a trip without having to take care of a high demand toddler. So far Tulia had been great. She slept for a few hours on the trip, which helped her stay awake on our first day of arrival until ten something local time before she went to bed, first for 6 hours, then after her snack at 4am, for another 8 hours! Now the second night has passed, and it's 8am. She slept around 12 last night. Hopefully this means that she's completely adjusted to the time difference and "operating" at a normal time. I, however, is a bit jet-lagged. I slept at 2 but woke up since 6:15 this morning. Unfortunately nothing much is open at this early hour, otherwise I would take advantage of having Ada at home to walk around, like what I did yesterday morning.
Yesterday we went to Judy & Ray's wedding and we're so happy to be there to share their joy. It was one of the most touching weddings I've been to. The vow, the exchange of rings, and all the speeches made my eyes wet. Knowing what Judy had been through we are so happy that she found the love of her life. We do hope that she has it better than any of us this time around.
